A visit begins with listening. Dr. Zaika wants to know what brought you in, what is bothering you and what you hope to achieve, whether that is relief from a toothache or a smile you feel better about. The examination follows, with digital X-rays when they are needed, and he shows you the images and explains what they mean in plain words.

You then receive a clear plan: what he recommends, why, what each step involves and what it is likely to cost once your insurance benefits have been verified with the office. If treatment is needed, we numb the area first, and most patients feel pressure rather than pain. You can ask for a break at any time, and sedation dentistry is available for patients who feel anxious or who are having a longer procedure. There is no pressure to decide on the spot. Results vary from person to person, and every recommendation follows an examination.
