Invisalign clear aligners are the orthodontic service in our catalogue. A series of clear, removable trays, each custom-made from a digital scan, moves the teeth a small amount at a time over a planned course that typically takes 6 to 18 months. The trays are nearly invisible, come out for meals and brushing, and are worn 20 to 22 hours a day. A retainer afterwards keeps the result.

Invisalign treats crowding, gaps, teeth that have drifted after earlier braces and many mild to moderate bite problems. Straighter teeth are easier to clean, and an even bite spreads chewing forces more evenly, so orthodontics is about health as well as appearance. Some cases, particularly severe bite or jaw discrepancies, are better served by traditional braces or an orthodontic specialist, and we say so at the consultation.

An orthodontic consultation at our office checks four things: the health of the teeth and gums (any cavities or gum problems are treated first), the bite and jaw joints, whether all adult teeth have come in, and how far each tooth needs to move. A digital scan then becomes a 3D treatment plan with a preview of the expected result and an estimated timeline.
